Pint poured (keg) at the Gleaneagles Golf Club, a cola-like brown colour with a large thick creamy head. The aroma is lightly caramal. A sharp bitter mouthfeel with earthy malt flavours.

Aroma is minimal however theres a little malt character comes though. Taste is also minimal though non-offensive. Very easy to drink as expected.

Keg at Lampett Arms, Tadmarton. Brown with pale nitro head, opaque. Not sure why this is so far out of its territory but much like other low ABV nitro beers, largely flavourless, a sweetish malty soup with little else. Poor.

Sampled draught (nitro dispensed) at Cath’s, Edinburgh.
Dark brown with creamy head. Roasty and light bodied. Creamy and clean with low bitterness, notes of coffee. Not the most complex of ales.
4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20 RichardGretton (3759) - Leicestershire, ENGLAND - JUL 12, 2002
Smooth and refreshing beer. Darker than English bitters (seems like a mild), slightly coffeeish, nice.
