Sampled draught (nitro dispensed) at Cath’s, Edinburgh.
Dark brown with creamy head. Roasty and light bodied. Creamy and clean with low bitterness, notes of coffee. Not the most complex of ales.
2.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 Oakes (10184) - Gibsons, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 6, 2010
Keg, White Hart, Port Ellen. Tawny colour. Nitro head. Light caramel aroma hinting at some richer sugars. Very light, watery stuff. Goes down quick, but not sign of those sugars.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Maria (8576) - Thisted, DENMARK - MAY 1, 2007
14.08.05 The Crown Hotel, Thornhill, Scotland, draught. It’s a dark amber beer, with a delicious and creamy head. It’s uncomplicated and smooth with notes of caramel, and the bitterness is moderate.
1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 imdownthepub (7473) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - JAN 2, 2006
Keg at Lampett Arms, Tadmarton. Brown with pale nitro head, opaque. Not sure why this is so far out of its territory but much like other low ABV nitro beers, largely flavourless, a sweetish malty soup with little else. Poor.
2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 DonMagi (5599) - bantervile, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - JAN 11, 2006
A nitro keg bitter in scotland for the locals, never!
Aroma is minimal however theres a little malt character comes though. Taste is also minimal though non-offensive. Very easy to drink as expected.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 Beershine (4718) - The Sunshine State, Florida, USA - OCT 21, 2010
Keg @ White Hart, Port Ellen. Red with a tight nitro head. Has a nice toasty aroma and some wortiness as well. Nitro is killing the body. There is nothing wrong with the beer, which is pleasantly malty. Is smooth but unfortunately the nitro kills any complexity that might exist.

Smooth and refreshing beer. Darker than English bitters (seems like a mild), slightly coffeeish, nice.

Copper color. Slightly malty aroma. Bit malty taste, quite bitter. More like a watery bock beer.
