1.8 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
On tap at Royal Concert Hall Glasgow, a clear amber with a fine creamy foamy head. Aroma, not sure i got much. Taste had some caramel note and a bit of maltiness with a mild bitterness. In the round it seemed rather bland I thought.

Looks good, smells ok, tastes pretty average. Decent enough for an afternoon beer if nothing else available but nothing to make it stand out from the crowd. on tap @ The Longhouse, Kilmarnock.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
On tap @ Bertís Bar. Pours dark amber with a decent head. The nose has toffee, some spice and sweet malt. The taste has more of the sweet malt and toffee with a slight astringency towards the end. The palate is medium in body, creamy in texture and as mentioned already, a slight malt bitterness rather than any hop freshness at the end. Overall, itís another mediocre offering from the makers of Tennents.
