COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask: Special - Wetherspoon Autumn Festival 2012.
A version of Tree Brewing Thirsty Beaver made by Dave Goekiert of Tree Brewing, Canada at Caledonian Brewery.
This amber-coloured beer has a slightly sweet malt aroma, leading to a distinct malt character, with caramel and nut undertones in the flavour, resulting in a beer with a clean finish and bursting with flavour.
Hops used: Cascade, Palisade, Perle

Oct, 2012. JDW, Rochester. Fruity premium bitter with a dryish palate from caramel or crystal malt. Doesn’t sit together well for me - rather rough but drinkable.

Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms, Bristol, November 2012. Copper coloured with a slight, off-white head. Tangerine fruit with some caramel, a touch of sherbet and moderately bitter finish. Ok.

Festival ale, cask, half-pint at JDWs Pommelers Rest. Clear copper coloured body. Bubbly ring to the rim of the surface. Spotty lacing. Malt-fruity nose. Spiced fruity taste mixed with semi-sweet malt. Bittersweet finish. Fine with the Chilli Con Carne (London, 03.11.2012).

Hamilton Hall Spoons. Clear gold beer, little off white head. Light dry palate - smooth. Sweetish dry malt. Floral notes with a subtle ester. Tasty and juicy hops - tangy tangerine, orange, lemon and lime. Dry finish with a minerally carbonated bite. Like the hops here and the way they contrast with the esters. Decent.

Another good looking brew from the local ’spoons beer fest! Mid brown in colour, good thickish white head that leaves nice lace down the glass. Smooth and malty, with just a touch of hoppy bitterness. A good beer that went down really well!
