2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Not too blond in its character, and the ale has more of a malty taste to it.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Cask conditioned at a Wetherspoons. Gold with white head. Light, fruity, thinnish blonde beer, some malty graininess with a yeasty bread dough character. Just a bit dull and uninspiring in reality.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cask at the Coronet JDW, Holloway. Golden blond colour, quite clear, beige creamy head. Aroma is grass hops, bit lemon, lots of malt, touch of stink. Taste is bready, grain, bit of cream, little bit of lemon. Maybe cherry hint, and some almond. Not bad.

Cask @ JDW Elgin
Amber, clear, dense white head
Aroma - Could tell it was brewed by Caledonian straight away, typical Caley maize popcorn malt aroma, light sweet fruits
Taste - the same caley malt, like Deuchars with some honey notes, bit of spicy hop, light citrus, bit dull but drinkable
Finish - as main flavour...light bitter..cleans off palate
Overall - Seemed to be a typical Caley beer to me - drinkable but rather dull
