Cask. Dark amber color with an off-white head. Aroma: Malty and sweet, toffee, sweet fruit and caramel. Flavor: Sweet malt, fruity, milky, caramel, some hop bitterness in the background. I actually liked this one better on bottle. On cask it was a bit watery.

Sep 30, 2008 Tasted at Gallows Bird RALE 05. Dark copper brown colour. Some hints of toffee and vanillium in the taste. Also some fruitiness.

From cask. Pours clear and golden orange with a fully gone head. Dry malty and slight spiced aroma. Smooth and malty flavour with a mild breadish touch. Medium dry and slight bitter finish. Nice one.

Sep 13, 2008 Clear dark amber with tiny off white head. Sweet fruity aroma with toasted malt and caramel notes. Sweet and somewhat earthy flavour with caramel notes. Ends sweet.

Sep 8, 2008 Pint on tap at The Drum and Monkey in Glasgow. Copper color with light tan head. Creamy taste with a whisky malt nose. Really pleasant, with malty mouthfeel and Scotch whisky finish.

Aug 16, 2008 Cask. Low lasting creamy off-white head. Dark clear amber body. Distinct barley malt aroma with caramel and honey. Sweet barley malt flavor with a bit of caramel but little hops bitterness. Low carbonation, short aftertaste.
