Tasted this in the Bull Inn, Paisley in November 2008. Cask, handpump dispense. Clear pale tawny in colour with a thin white head. Dry dusty hops in the aroma. Thin mouthfeel and good lacing. Pale malts give a thin base of digestive biscuit with a hint of redcurrant fruit. A dry almost citric bite in the bitter aftertaste. Finish is well balanced but bland with a digestive biscuit note just evident. Poor effort and would take Caley 80/ over this one.

From cask at Three Judges. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Mild fruity and slight citrusy aroma. Mild caramelish and slight spiced base flavour. Solid bitterness coming through. Holds a dry and bitter finish. Light roasted acidicy on the back of the tongue and nose.
