Cask at the Moon Under Water (JDW), Watford on 11 April 2013. Poured a clear, dark amber with a layer of tight, off white head. Aroma of passion fruit, oranges and malt. jamestulloch (1048) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAY 1, 2013
Aroma: Orange squash, mango and passionfruit. Very fruity aroma.

Appearance: Hazy golden body with a medium off-white head. No visible carbonation. Light lacing.

Taste: Fresh passionfruit juice and pale malt. Very juicy with a light peppery finish.

Palate: Medium body with an oily texture. Flat carbonation.

Overall: Juicy, fruity and easy drinking. Not sure if I could drink more than a couple in a sitting, though.

Poured a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma of red fruit and some malt. Medium body, flavour of sweet zesty raspberry. Not a bad thirst quencher.

wheresthepath (1445) - Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - APR 28, 2013
[Cask at the Hope Tap (JDW), Reading] Light amber with a moderate white head and prickly fizz. There’s a slight tropical hint and some flowers in both the aroma and flavour, along with a little pepper and a faint but unpleasant sourness. Weak-tasting, very watery and unsatisfying.

DruncanVeasey (6950) - NUNEATON, Top 24, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - APR 17, 2013
The Felix Holt, Nuneaton, 09/04/13. OK: I like the smell of passion fruit and this smells of that so it scores some points. Wet, bright, collared gold draped with lace. Perfumed ladybeer flavour without real fruit; dunked biscuit, aniseed hints, TCP. Drinkable by the third but has nothing like the passion fruit character of the Conwy.

danlo (897) - Darlington, Durham, ENGLAND - APR 13, 2013
Cask at Tanners Hall JDW Darlington. Golden amber colour, creamy white head leaving some lacing and fruity, passionfruit aroma. Taste is sweet, malt, tropical fruit juice flavours, melon, passionfruit, lemon-lime and a light bitterness with biscuit notes at the finish. Light bodied, soft carbonation, OK.

Theydon_Bois (6986) - The ’Sham, Surrey, ENGLAND - APR 12, 2013
Cask at the Rupert Brooke (JDW) Rugby, 03/04/13. Clear dark amber with a thin white head. Nose is malt, passion fruit, light piss, hint of hoppage. Taste comprises orange, passion fruit, sugars, strawberries, light fruit cocktail kind of thing going down. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, a little dry in the finish. Ok stuff - this was one of the turn ups for me from this JDW festival, no world beating stuff but pleasant enough and refreshing, was expecing a mid 2. something fruit cacktail!
