Brewed to commemorate 21 years of Robert Deuchar’s inspirational Pale India Ale being reborn at The Caledonian Brewery.
Sparkling golden pale beer, lemon citrus and grapefruit on the nose. Lemon sherbet on the tongue followed by a luscious mouthfeel of zesty tingling and ending with a lingering dry bitterness.

Bottle. Easter gift from Pix. Pours amber with a good frothy off white head. The taste is herbal and spicy with some soapy citrus. Drinkable enough, but not great.

Bottle from home bargains. Pours a golden colour with thick white head which doesn’t last too long. Smell wise there is a kind of cereal and bready malt along with a floral and slightly citrusy hop note. Taste is mildly sweet and medum bitter. It is slighlty oily and creamy in texture with mild carbonation. Overall not too bad, quite nice

Gold amber colour, foamy white head leaving alittle lacing and aroma of malt, grassy, hint of citrus. Taste is malty with vanilla notes and light bitterness. Creamy mouth feel, light bodied, soft to medium carbonation, smooth sweetish finish. A average beer from scotland

Bottle. Golden and clear with a small head.Medium body with a slight trace of hops but otherwise pretty bland. Not a bad beer just a disappointing one.

Bottle, Sainsburys. Nice deepish amber colour, good white head. Quite full bodied, good balanced malt/hop flavours, although I was expecting it to be a bit hoppier. Nice brew tho!

Lively, clear golden beer with a thick frothy head which quickly dissipates. There’s citrus in the aroma but also a sour, almost metallic twang to it. Flavour has a zesty hit with a touch of light grapefruit. The same slightly unpleasant bitterness from the aroma is there as well. Aftertaste is light with a very slight touch of lemon and a sort of biscuity mouthfeel. Not very nice.

500ml bottle from Home Bargains - Pours a deep amber colour with a huge, foamy white head. Sweet aroma, with a mix of butterscotch and vanilla and a hint of fruit. Quite sweet and buttery in the taste with some sweet malts, toffee and some light hops as well. Thick palate with a dry and creamy feel with a low to mild carbonation and a mildly bitter finish. Quite okay I suppose.
