Pours clear amber with a smallish head. Malty aroma with fruity notes and even a hint of caramel. Taste sweetish too with malt and bread, but it finishes with moderate bitterness. Too sweet brew for me. (500ml bottle, bb 31.08.16)

As bitter ale itís not exactly what one expects. There are fine foaming and it has a good flavor of both hops, malt and some fruit. The flavor is as such also in order, but in my opinion lacks a little more ferocity in the form of a little more crispness and bitterness.

Pours a golden copper colour with small white head which doesnít last. Aroma is buttery, sweet malt and lightly grassy hops. Taste is sweet, slightly bitter and rather bland. Drinkable but nothing special and rather watery

Bottle from Waitrose and drunk at home. Clear amber lasting off white head. Some malt and some earthy hop on the aroma. Some toffee in the mouth. Some hop on the finish. Itís a pretty decent bitter. Bit of yeast character. Well balanced and pretty drinkable.

500ml bottle pours a light copper with a small white head that soon dissipates to cap. Nose is some bread dough, some earthy roast nuts and some toffee. Taste is similar earthy with sweet malt evident. Thin mouth feel, medium low carbonation. Some hop bitterness on the finish but not bag loads by any stretch, earthy roast nutty notes continue on the finish. A bit more subdued than I had remembered.

Uma ipa que não é das melhores. Um pouco aguada e não tem um bom amargor. Não vale tomar novamente. Tomei em Londres. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Blandly malty, no hops to speak of - rather a generic bitter. Itís a shame because itís good on draught.

A solid British IPA. Slips down happily each time. Often on offer at my local OneStop, so all good. 7/10

14.4.2014. Looks like basic lager, nose is quite light with some bitterness and cereal. Flavour has similar malty feeling with mild fruity bitter finish.

Bottle from Asda. Haven't drank this beer for ages. Deuchars and it's pal 80% used to be the Scottish pub antidote to the dreadful Tartan Specials and their ilk that dominated the market back then. When they were good, they were very good. Sometimes, though, a pint would disappoint. I had the same feeling with this bottle. So lacking in character you have to force it over your tongue to extract any flavour. It is there, but sadly diluted. Shame. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
