This was my "gateway" IPA. Had loads of these in Edinburgh and a couple in Aalborg as well.
Mild, but yet with enough sting to make it worth while. This is the kind of IPA I wish I could get in the shops here in Norway, for a price similar to your regular lager or there about. I would then drink that when watching movies or sports. But, alas, no one in Norway has this beer (regularly)

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours slightly cloudy, amber colour, with a thick head that settles into a steady thin head. Aroma of orange, honey and bread. Taste is malty, honey, citrus/orange, bitter and slightly bitter at the end. Palate has medium carbonation. A refreshing beer, relatively easy to drink.

Once upon a time this was in every pub in the world. Now I rarely see it. This was a bottle from Waitrose and it was perfectly good. Still, the best pint I ever had was in a pub under the Forth Bridge.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Not bad as it seems at the first sip. Aroma is very feeble, with malt and honey. Flavour is malty, quite sweet, with a mild fruity bitterness. There’s grass, straw bakery byproducts and boiled vegetables in the background, but nothing serious that could spoil the crispness of this nice beer. Do not expect a New World-type of IPA, but an old, rather "historical" Old World mellow ale.

Pint can on East Coast rail to Leeds. Amber in color, nice drink ability. Not overly bitter but enough to give it some flavor.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Surprisingly nice green hop herbal nose, which fades too fast leaving cereal. Taste its green hops and herbal notes with light cereal and a little citrus. Finish is a little butterscotch.
Above average supermarket beer.
