Ah, my dear gateway IPA. I had this several times in Edinburgh, and it became one of my dear memories from that city. It is a kind and gentle IPA this. Low in alcohol, not owerpoering in any way, but wonderfully quafable, with a nice pearly texture to it. I remember drinking it fast, simply because I had done a lot of sightseeing and it hit all the right spots. Recently had it bottled in Aalborg, and it was a great revisit. Reccommended.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
From cask @ Adam & Eve, London. This is a near clear copper-golden one with a small bubbly and flocking white head. Light fruity with sweet apples and peach on the aroma. No carbonation with a soft oily texture. The taste is also infused with apples and peach. It also has a nice bitterness all the way. Light yeast-zesty in the finish. Good thirst quencher indeed. 20.07.2012

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: JUL 2, 2013 From tap in London. After days of London Pride Ale this was quite something different. Mid-gold in colour with a small creamy head. A bit of malt in the aroma and a surprising tender bitternes. Still very refreshing and bit of hops in the end. Very drinkable. After years still unforgettable.

Good looking beer. Taste is fairly negligibblle. Smooth. CAMRA Supreme Champion 2002 I see. Wonder how much the taste has changed since then.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
The head is ok, the body clear, blond. It smells nothing, bit barley. The taste is miild, barley and a bit bitter-malty. Not my favourite. 9/8/7/6/-/6

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Cask. Mid-gold/brown with a off-white very creamy head. Grapefruit and lemon hoppiness on nose and a mid maltiness. Well balanced crisp maltiness and zesty light hops in the mouth. Creamy mouthfeel and a tasty beer makes this incredibly drinkable and summery.

Cask. Hazy golden colour, creamy head, aroma is very hoppy, citrus and pine, taste is citrusy, hoppy, malty and a touch bitter. A staple of pubs all over the U.K and a very decent beer.
