Draft in Edinburgh. Pretty good. Mild but satisfying taste, suitably rich with a very pleasant finish. Creamy head reminded me of KIlkenny. Irish ale meets IPA.

Cask at the Kings Arms, Stansted. Pours light gold with a small head. Aroma is sweet, honey and nutty yeast. Taste is sweet, with straw and a touch of honey on the finish.

Amber ale with a white head. There was little going on with this. A slightly sharp citrus hop flavour. Thin tasting and pretty bland really.

Nice color with mild spice. No real bitterness or hop aroma. Easy drinking cask ale, but stretching the truth to call it an IPA.

Cask at Ye Dolphin, Robin Hood’s Bay, September 2013. Clear golden with white head. Fruity, preserved fruit aroma - exotic fruit syrup and also some piss. Mild bitterness, English hops apparent in the taste. Light body, oily, malty finish.

Has a very faint malt aroma, no real hops on the nose which is rather odd for an IPA. Body is standard gold with a decent head. Flavour is decent malts and sweet hops; simplistic but reasonable. A simple brew but reliable.

(Cask): Clear golden with a small white head. Floral, hop and slightly citrus aromas. Malt, hop and citrus fruit taste. Works well with a nice bitterness. Drinkable and refreshing.

Graham77 (205) - Glasgow, SCOTLAND - AUG 25, 2013
Cask at the Pot Still, Glasgow. Better than the bottled version which is more than decent. A well balanced beer with good depth of flavour. Biscuity and lightly hoppy with a viscous and refreshing mouthfeel.

Very drinkable traditional bitter. Good citrus hit at the first gulp ending with floral, coppery notes.

Best pint I’ve had in a while - drinks best when a bit colder. Floral hoppy taste, with a slight note of caramel.
