(RBESG 2007, Cask at The Barony, Edinburgh) Golden color, creamy offwhite head. Hoppy aroma with some grassy notes. Hoppy flavor, graasy and citric, some melon (?), metallic notes. Citric hoppy finish.

UPDATED: MAY 5, 2012 On tap at several Scottish places. Some pine and herabl aromas. Pours pale gold, wuite clear, with nice whie head, creamy. Some persistence and lacework. Medium body and flat carbonation. Taste is grassy, somebitternes but very well balanced. Dry long finish. Easy to drink.

Very light coloured ale served without head. Light but surely hoppy aroma, but butter, cornflakes and earthy. Smooth body, maybe too low on carbonation. Taste is straightforward but well drinkable. Very light and very English. (Pint)

Pours light golden with a small head. Aroma hops, citrus. Thin palate and light overall.

On tap in lyndon house hotel walsall. Decent white.head. clear golden pour. Nice enough beer.

Not one of the better English beers. Weak yellow gold colour, small foam head. nice and bitter with some grainy maltiness in aroma. Low carbonated cask Bitter.

Op zich weinig écht bijzonders (troebel, hoppig, weeïg, gistig), maar als dorstlesser en gezien het lage alcoholpercentage een prima bier. Van ’cask’, dus ongekoeld en zonder toegevoegd koolzuur, wat misschien even wennen is.

Lovely English hoppy beer. Easily drinkable delicious. Forget about the American hop style, just enjoy this fruity beer.

Clear pale golden colour with small white head. Mild bitterness and lots of grainy maltiness in aroma. Moderate bitterness, grainy maltiness and mild liquorice in flavour. Very nice cask Bitter.
