Hand pulled, Duke William, Bradford.
Citrusy aroma, thick head, lovely golden colour when settled. Creamy feel in the mouth with citrus/aromatic taste not very hoppy. Easy to drink, not taxing on the taste buds, very refreshing, could easily sink several.

So this on tap all over Edinburg but my rating is from drunken walkabout. Gold pour with faint hops aromas. Tastes are all middle the road hopping characteristics. Citrus and pine but subdued. Bitter palate.

Pours amber and clear, a foamy white covering which diminishes completely. Malty and fruity aromas, hint of lemon, smooth tasting with a caramel finish. Solid bitter.

Bit too mild and bland for me. Not enough going on to keep me interested. Good appearance though.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Classic Scottish beer, launched in the ’90s to remember brewer Robert Deuchars. Thin but stable head, colour a warm golden blonde with orange hue. Fruity aroma, apple, peach, orange peel, malty background, some peppery hops; taste begins fruity, soft maltiness, sweetish, ending in a herbal, quite strong hop bitterness. Stylistically to be regarded as an IPA in the original, British sense of the word, it seems, but in that sense different from the American-style IPA’s we are more acquainted with nowadays.

A good low alcohol bitter with lots of flavor. Pours a hazy orange with a frothy three fingers of white head. Sweet citrus and grass hops with light spiced notes. Mild caramel and honey sweetness with light lemon notes. Grainy malts on the finish

Cask at Big Jug Durham. Very slight aroma of hops. Quite flat, with very little bitterness. A bit sweet, taste of friuts. Light apricot colour. The only IPA on the tap, this is the reason for trying it.
