Cask, Stanley’s Cask, New Brighton. Clear brown looks with a thin tan head. Some dark fruit in the nose but not much else transpired. Sweet malts predominated in the thin watery flavour. Dried out a little towards the finish. Deeply average brew.

Cask at Edinburgh Airport:
Chestnut brown colour with a finger sized & rather creamy looking, brownish white head that has excellent retention.
A mild fruit aroma that is rather light on the nose with only some wheat & spiciness coming through.
Mainly a bitter taste coming from this supposedly dunkelweizen beer. There is a little bit of a dark fruity taste in there somewhere around the middle.
Medium to thick bodied with a smooth texture and a nice creamy feel to it, if a little heavy in places but not overly. There is a lot of bitter in the finish but thankfully it isn’t too overpowering.

Just another ordinary cask ale in my book, although it must be said that I much prefer draught or bottle over cask for the most part. Overall the beer had a nice, smooth & creamy texture to it & went down well enough not to disappoint me.

No chocolate on nose but has spiciness of a wheat ale with very sweet malt finish. Not really a dunkel

Cask at pub in London. Dark golden cloudy colour, good tan head. Taste of caramel and some fruits. A good cask beer.

Thought I entered this one already. From what I can remember. Cask @ Henglers Circus. Amber colour, tan head. Nose is caramel malts with some fruits. Flavour is little toasted malts, caramel, slightly spicy. Slightly fruity finish.

Hoped I would have been first to rate this one. Cask @ The Henglers Circus. Vegetable caramel aroma. Dark brown colour, good head. Caramel liquorice malt flavour. Quite smooth. Not really a dunkelweizen but I am not sure what it is. Better than most of the beers that Caledonian brew.

Cask at The Standing Order. Pours a brown colour with a fair beige head. Aroma of caramel, grassy hops, coffee and yeast. Similar flavours with a little dry finish. Mild carbonation. Not great, quite thin. Bitter linger with some roasted barley.
