2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 fonefan (24928) - VestJylland, - JUN 5, 2009
Cask (handpump) @ Cask and Barrel, 115 Broughton Street, Edinburgh EH1 3RZ, Scotland. Clear medium amber orange color with a average, creamy - frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, caramel - chocolate notes, moderate sweet raspberry. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light bitter with a long duration. Sweetness is artificial sweet raspberry notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. Okay ale but a bit special, quality okay but maybe a little girly ;o) [20090409]
3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Benjii (2396) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - APR 27, 2012
On cask at Cloisters. Pours a dark golden colour with an aroma of caramel, musty yeast and raspberry ripple ice-cream. Similar flavours with mild carbonation and lingering raspberry syrup.
3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 jackl (727) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - APR 22, 2012
Cask @ The Pakenham Arms. The appearance is deep, ruddy reddish brown with a small white head. The nose is strong raspberry tart, very fruity. Some sugary custard and nutty brown bread. The taste is much the same, though slightly subdued. I get slightly watery Robinsons fruit squash. Light raspberry. Balsamic vinegar and light tobacco. Watery finish. Low carbonation. Overall, actually not that bad. A bit different.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 dogbomb (277) - ENGLAND - APR 13, 2012
Cask. Deep rich copper with a white froth. Dominated by raspberry on the nose. First sip is a raspberry POW. It gets subtler though, with hints of toffee, meringue and a nice bitter lime finish.

Cask @ Old Mill Inn, Brodie
Amber, slight red tinger, clear, tight creamy white head, some lacing
Aroma of raspberry milkshake, sweet malts, some of the buttery claey malts coming through, hmmm
Taste - soft raspberry jam, cereal malts, hint of corn, some bitter hops in the background, some buttery notes, odd mishmash, not good
Palate - soft carb, light body. Finish as main flavour , bit metallic, hint of burnt jam.
Overall - Oh dear
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 tombyars (1102) - Saltcoats, SCOTLAND - OCT 13, 2011
Tasted this in the Last Post, Paisley (JDW) in April 2009. Clear russet copper in colour with a thin white head. Rasbery icecream in the short aroma. Thin mouthfeel and poor lacing. Pale malt complex gives a fruity malty base with ripe rasberry fruit along with chocolate and toffee malt notes. Very little in the way of hop resins in the short aftertaste but sweetness returns in the fruity finish. Good example of a fruit beer.

6th April 2009 On tap somewhere! Clear light brown beer. The raspberry is not subtle and dominates the beer. The tartness of the raspberries blends in very well with the mildly hop finish. A bit over dry but a mouth watering beer.
