Cask conditioned - handpump - GBBF 2007. A copper coloured beer with a nice whitish head. The aroma is very very oaty and full of cereal muesli notes. The taste is reasonably hoppy but the oats notes are still there. There is a floral herbal thing going on to add a little extra intrigue.

Cask at the Guildford Arms, Edinburgh (August, 2007). Dark amber color. Sweet, strong, aroma with honey, spices, and…ginger. Sweet flavor of honey and fruit, with ginger (added for sure). Good enough, but not well balanced. Too sweet and spicy, with too much ginger.

Dark charneol colour. Diacetyl dominates the aroma. Light bodied with a cidery-vinegary touch as well as butterscotch and lemon. Not the favourite beer of John Rebus.
