2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Cask on stillage at the Stag and Hounds, Binfield. Pale amber with a ring of scummy white head; malty aroma; soft, dusty, malt taste with some vaguely citrus fruit; and a dry and unsatisfying finish. A poor attempt at a summer beer - certainly not refreshing, even when drunk in a near-perfect English beer garden.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Cask conditioned at Blackfriars, Inverness. Gold with white head. Malty beer with a toffee caramel background which just evidently masks the hoppiness that has been described. Some sweetness and slightly dull unfortunately.
