[cask at the 2010 Scottish Real Ale Festival, Edinburgh] Caledonian’s ale for June, another citric session ale from Slateford. The hops give a lemon zest to Surf Sup which is pretty refreshing. Pours a light golden colour with a little head, no rising carbonation. Aromas of citrus – mostly lemons. Lemony malt on the tasting, it’s actually pretty good, would have this again [27062010]

Cask @ Counting House, JDW. Hazy golden colour, dense white head. Aroma is light malty, bit of citrus. Flavour is malty, citrus, wheat. Slight sour finish.
