The Tournament Favourite. Our famous rugby recipe returns for this year’s Championship. Rich golden presentation with perfectly balanced bitter-sweet flavours. Amber malt adds the malty character to this incredibly thirst-quenching pint

Cask at The Cricketers, Bedford. Gold with a small white head. Malty aroma. Taste is sweet, malty, butterscotch. Some bitterness. Fair enough, but not a lot going on.

A Sim rate (Marquis of Cornwallis): Quite sweet and surprising vanilla/caramel aroma. Boring colour, but very impressive lasting lace. Very ordinarily-malty flavour but something sweet and nice about it. Woody with definite caramel in the finish. Nice but rather ordinary.

Cask in The Ingrim Bar. Aroma is bittering hop caramel and biscuity malts. Taste is similar but with more roasted malts, not a very hot ale.
