Hazy tan pour with frothy off white head. Aroma is light caramel malt and a touch of citrus. Flavor is sweet malt, some earthy tones, and a decent bitter finish. Medium body with good carbonation good beer

nearbeer (3735) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - FEB 24, 2014
Pint on tap. Hazy orange-golden with a lasting film of cream. Mild nose of toffee and crackers. Flavors of lemon zest, caramel, touches of dry grass and resin, and maybe some graham cracker. Light-medium body is balanced but a little too fizzy. This brew is as described: pretty much a muddle that needs to be either more boldly English or American, as the current combo is pretty forgettable.

BillKismet (3335) - Seattle, Washington, USA - MAR 23, 2014
Deep copper brown, with a ring of head. Crisp hop lager nose, with a body that is similar. Barrel wood quality and fruitiness permeate throughout the olfactory senses and the palate.

On draft at Crawdaddy’s in Cookeville. The pour is a yellow body under a soapy white head. Light grassy aroma. The flavor is watered down malts with little bitterness. Weak and watery.

On tap at Crawdaddy’s, served too cold but I’m patient enough to let it warm up. This is a really solid pale ale. It’s a nice grassy, citrusy brew. It harkens Terrapin’s or Yazoo’s pale. This is well rounded with hops providing a tasty bitterness in the spotlight while malts are basically around for a canvass. Great sessionable brew.

illinismitty (2270) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - JUL 24, 2011
Draft at 12 south. Pours a murky dark amber with a wisp of a head. Fruity aroma. Medium bodied with a nice English esque mouth feel. Flavor of caramel and toasty malts, countered by a nice, but not overly assertive bitterness. Mineral and musty finish, which is probably a result of the Belgianesque yeast strain.

16 oz draft pours amber with a white head. Aroma of sweet malt, citrus and a little pine. Taste is the malts and just a hint of bitterness.

Tasted on draft at the Nashville Beer Festival. Pours cloudy orange with an average white head that slowly recedes to thin lace. The nose is cereal and hay malt with some orange peel bitterness and spicy hops. The flavor is the same hay and cereal malt up front, moving to orange peel bitterness and finishing with a spicy hops note. The body is medium with average carbonation and a long spicy and bitter orange peel finish.
