A Calfkiller classic, an ale inspired by granola. This beloved perennial is brewed with barley, oats, wheat, apples, coconut, almonds, brown sugar, local honey and then secondarily fermented with raisins, honey and more almonds!

Pint on tap. Murky, darkish caramel color with a few bubbles. Smells of clove-y Belgian yeast and a bit of toffee. Tastes the same with some toasted grain and woody hops. Light-medium body is balanced and has medium carbonation.

Oh, Calfkiller, what an odd bird you are. Once again, you’ve created a beer with a nice flavor and a really watery, flat palate. Tastes fine, really - grainy, toasty, nice malt character - but it seems almost completely flat and watery. Again.

Tasted on draft at the 2012 East Nashville Beer Festival. Pours cloudy brown/orange with a very thin beige head that completely disappears. The nose is bread malt, very grainy, with a nice hit of dried fruit. The flavor is light, but the same, very grainy, tons of cereal and bread, with the same dried fruit characteristic. The body is medium with light carbonation and a medium grainy and dried fruity finish.

Amazing beer, nutty, sweet, fruity, earthy, malty and filling. Like all Calfkiller beers, it had a very balanced, English mild kind of flavor and body, and comes with a cloudy body and a great kind of perfect homebrew feeling to it.
