Growler Clear gold with a sticky, long lasting white head. Aroma is resiny pine hops and a bit of sweet malt. The flavor is pretty washed out and the body is very thin. Really disappointed. I will try again if I find this on draft.

Growler from The Market on Washington. Okay, this is not an IPA. I had no idea what style was intended, so I had no preconceptions and no disappointment. This seems more like a dry, hoppy light golden ale. It’s very light, crisp and sessionable. Clean grassy citrus notes with a dry crackery finish. There are hints of lemon. Light, clean grapefruit highlights the slight palate. Great summer brew! (Not an IPA)

Growler from a beer shop in Nashville. Rad that they do growler fills. Pours a darker red/brown with light white head. Aroma is grass, malt, hay and some wet metal. Taste is slight grassy hops, very malty (from a tap) and some iron/metal notes. Overall, I wanted to love a brewery called Calfkiller but sad this doesn’t live up to my internal mind hype.

This ones a bit confusing. Advertised as an IPA but actually the beer is very yellow pale wheat/lager color. Taste is equally as head scratching as I can’t pinpoint a particular flavor of this beer. Grass, woodsy, wheat tones initial sip and a clean, crisp lager-like finish..Little hop characteristics in taste. Head is white and very foamy and lacing strung about the glass nicely. Overall a head scratcher but still drinkable I suppose

Sampled at the 2012 East Nashville Beer Festival. Served by a wizard. Grassy and cereal, with notes of grassy hops. Dry woody finish. Lots of sticky hops.
