COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
You'll love it or hate it; no in-betweens. An excellent wheat beer for drinking on a hot day. The typical phenolic banana flavor of wheat ales is not evident. The blueberry flavor is slightly sweet without being cloying, with an interesting light overtone of black pepper. The finish is a lingering sensation, best done repeatedly.

Very sweet and fruity aroma. A real spicy blueberry flavor...unfiltered. It was overall quite good. Not really my style.

Another great one from SDBC. I have had many bad fruit beers, but this is one of the best I have ever had. Nice clear straw color with some head. Blueberry aroma but not overwhelming. Perfectly balanced blueberry taste. Not syrupy but still precent.

Drank this at San Diego Brewing Company. Not what I was expecting which was a pleasent surprise. Almost golden pour. Strong creamy blueberry aroma and flavor. Also had a chance to visit with the head brewer Dean Rouleau. A great guy to go with the great beers being served. I would recomend this as well as the Choco-Latte Porter and Hopnotic IPA.

Aroma is blueberry puree, perfume, and cereal. Pours hazy yellowish orange. Flavor is mostly smooth. Wheat and blueberry dominate flavor. Some cereal notes too. Very smooth. Body is relatively heavy, but I had about 6 beers by now, so...

Draft. A golden beer with a lazing white head. The aroma has strong notes of blueberries. The flavor is sweet with notes of blueberries and malt, leading to a dry finish. Great blueberry beer.

A: A rather uninspiring pale golden color with no head and not much in the way of visible carbonation either. S: A huge aroma of sweet blueberry pancakes. Thatís really all there is to it, and Iím liking it. T: Like the nose would indicate, weíve got sweet, sugary, blueberries and a doughy pancake like flavor. Perhaps a bit "spritzy" on the finish. M: Although the beer is really sweet, I was surprised that it isnít syrupy. Quite light with a fairly low carbonation. D: Iím not normally one for these sweet, sugary beers, but this just tasted so much like one of the breakfast foods I really like: blueberry pancakes. As "bad" as it is to say, one of the better beers I had that day.

Draught at the brewpub: Cloud wheat beer, nose of instant buckwheat blueberry pancakes, a bit of husky sweet fruity flavor. Interesting blueberry wheat. Works well, a bit sweet, a bit sour. I like the blueberry, you donít get that very often.

Came from draught a cloudy gold and frm hite head. Blueberry fragrance and taste very dominate. Slight wheat acidty to balance sweet blueberry flavors. Enjoyable but not one to drink a lot of.

Pretty standard blueberry beer. Pours hazy, golden yellow with a thin white head, specks of lace. Smells like blueberry soda. Tastes like blueberry soda. Lots of blueberries. Kind of fake though. Light, syrupy body, vibrant carbonation.
