Artificial blueberry aroma and flavor. Pale, pale yellow. Just fake to me.
2.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 JorisPPattyn (6727) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - MAY 8, 2012
Draught. Arbitrary score 4/5 for Appearance, as nighttime conditions prevented correct assessment. Fruity nose, if anything reminding of pineapple; blueberry remaining a possibility. Very dull. Perfumed, utterly artificial flavour and very watery, if slightly wheaty background. Watery, empty, even the typical wheatslickness missing. Poor. And that’s putting it mildly.

Overall, pretty good. Blueberries all over taste and nose, but otherwise a very dry malty brew.

Draft. A golden beer with a lazing white head. The aroma has strong notes of blueberries. The flavor is sweet with notes of blueberries and malt, leading to a dry finish. Great blueberry beer.

Draft at the brewpub. Clear dark gold pour, white head. Lots of blueberries, flavor is better then the aroma, which was a little musty. Pretty sweet... bread, lightly malty. Pretty decent for a blueberry wheat.

Pretty standard blueberry beer. Pours hazy, golden yellow with a thin white head, specks of lace. Smells like blueberry soda. Tastes like blueberry soda. Lots of blueberries. Kind of fake though. Light, syrupy body, vibrant carbonation.

Cloudy pale yellow with a tiny white short lasting head. Sweet and fruity aroma with berries, wheat, yeast and wheat. Sweet lollypop flavor with berries, wheat and yeasty notes. Like a soda really.

A: A rather uninspiring pale golden color with no head and not much in the way of visible carbonation either.
S: A huge aroma of sweet blueberry pancakes. That’s really all there is to it, and I’m liking it.
T: Like the nose would indicate, we’ve got sweet, sugary, blueberries and a doughy pancake like flavor. Perhaps a bit "spritzy" on the finish.
M: Although the beer is really sweet, I was surprised that it isn’t syrupy. Quite light with a fairly low carbonation.
D: I’m not normally one for these sweet, sugary beers, but this just tasted so much like one of the breakfast foods I really like: blueberry pancakes. As "bad" as it is to say, one of the better beers I had that day.

On tap at Blue Palms. Pours with a deep golden body and an off-white head. Nose is straight blueberry-buckwheat pancakes. Very strong and distinct aroma. Taste is also very easy to sum up: Clearly Canadian Blueberry Soda. Sweet, strong blueberry presence that somehow isn’t cloying or annoyingly artificial. Lively to fizzy bubbles lead to a lively mouthfeel.

Draft @ SDBC. Pours a clear golden color. Nice blueberry on the nose as well as in the flavor. Finish holds cereal grain and blueberry. Earlier Rating: 1/30/2008 Total Score: 3.1 On tap @ San Diego Brew Co. Pours clear golden with a medium, fizzy head, some lacing. Nose was big on blueberries and not much else, pale malt perhaps. Clean and refreshing.
