Draft at brewery. Decent amber color with an OK head. Fruity citrusy hops. Some bright fruit too. Flavors came off a bit more bitter than the sweet aroma, but overall, not too bad.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 womencantsail (3927) - Home of Rebecca Black, California, USA - MAY 11, 2010
A: The pour is a pale golden color with some hints of orange and a white head on top.
S: The amount of grapefruit and citrus in the nose is quite surprising--in a good way. A touch of bready malt and a bit of sugar as well.
T: Unfortunately, the flavors don’t quite live up to the expectations of the nose. A bit on the bready side with some faint grapefruit and orange hops.
M: Medium in body, but perhaps a touch watered down. The carbonation also isn’t as aggressive as I usually like in a pale ale.
D: For what it is, not a bad beer. I would have liked the hoppiness to translate to the flavor a bit better, but a decent enough pale ale.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Dogbrick (4837) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - NOV 18, 2008
Sample at the brewpub. This beer is a clear light orange-amber color with a thin bone white head that recedes quickly. Spotty lacing. Moderately hoppy aroma with touches of citrus. Medium-bodied with citrusy hops and malt flavors. The finish is mostly hops with some grapefruit in the aftertaste. Straightforward and above average overall.

What I had was called Mission Trails Pale Ale, which I assume is a different name for this beer. Clear golden with creamy white head. Grape fruit and pine aroma and taste with a hoppy finish.

UPDATED: MAY 18, 2010 On tap@Callahans: Golden amber color with a small (bar pour) white head. Aroma is light and sweet with a hint of hops. Flavor starts malty fading to a light citrus hop finish. A fairly decent pale ale. One of Callahans better house brews.
