Thanks to Rob for letting me know that this one had finally been released! Light chocolate and vanilla aroma, dampened unfortunately by the nitro pour. Black, with a hint of ruby appearance, nitro head, but at least not too aggressive with it. Balanced flavors of chocolate and vanilla, just a faint suggestion of bourbon. Tasty, and highly drinkable. Great job in creating a bourbon barrel beer that doesn’t taste like licking a barn door from over-oaking. Very well done, hope they continue with these types of experimental beers.
