On Draft @ Cally’s. Very very thin slight white head, strong apricot nose. Pours a very light orange color. A little bit too sweet but a nice beer, especially for the summer time. I’m a huge fan of fruit beers though some I’m some what bias. Overall would be a little better if it was slightly heavier but pretty solid.

Deep gold with foamy white head and lace. Rich apricot, with medium malt on the aroma. Sweet malt, apricot, and a very light bitter. A tad foamy medium bodied beer.

Growler from the brewpub. Pours a clear apricot color, appropriately enough. Large frothy head, good head retention and lacing. Aroma of apricots, both the sweet side and the pithy tart side, as well as a nice creamy note. Taste is fresh apricots with some bready notes. Medium bodied. Refreshing. Fairly dry with a light tartness. Odd that they’re serving this as a seasonal beer in January, but still pretty tasty.

Draft at Cally’s. This one’s not fooling around, it is most definitely an apricot ale. Poured clear dark orange with a fleeting white head. Loads of apricot, not too sweet, but awesome mouthfeel coupled with moderate carbonation made this pretty darn tasty and highly drinkable. Pretty good gateway beer for someone I’m sure.

Thanks to Rob for bringing this from the brewery. Clear golden body with a small creamy off-white head. Very sweet apricot and peach aroma. Sweet apricot flavor with a caramel background.

Thanks to Rob for the growler sample, fresh from the brewer. Light copper amber appearance, slight head, fizzed out quickly. Huge aroma of apricots, quite inviting really. Flavor was a big hit of apricot, fading into a light amber bodied beer with a hint of bitterness. Oddly enough, I would have preferred this to be sweeter. Maybe my palate has been shot by too many examples of syrupy fruit beers. But definitely a better than average fruit beer, and from a fruit that isn’t highlighted nearly enough by brewers.

In my experience fruit beers are a weak category. However, this one was quite pleasant. I would hope the beer has the fragrance and flavors of the fruit. This one definitely does. The aroma was definitely apricot as was the flavor. It made for a very drinkable beer.

I love this one, unlike most Apricot beers, you can really taste and smell a ton of fresh fruit flavour. It has some nice ale like body, and is very very drinkable. I like it a lot.

Hazy golden body with white head. Aroma is medium sweet, apricot. Taste is medium sweet, apricot -- not overly sweet, sort of a dry soda. Light body with some acidity and a hint of syrup.
