COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Centuries of resistance to lager brewing in the German city of Cologne resulted in this unique ale that has certain "lager-like" characteristics. It is malty, golden ale with a clean character and slightly dry finish.

Sampled at the brewery. Pours a clear palr yellow with white head. Lightly corny and semi sweet grassy hop. Pretty decent and refreshing for what it is, but nothing to write home about.

Finally got to sample this, thanks to Rob and his growler. Poured a brilliantly clear medium towards light gold, slight head. Aroma was faintly of clean malts. Flavor was straight clean malt and a very light touch of slightly floral hops. Dry finish. This was exactly what I expect from a Kolsch, and I was very pleasantly surprised at how clean the flavor was. Very well done.
