2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 dmtroyer (430) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 9, 2007
Draft at Cally’s. Hazy straw yellow tending to gold. Not much in the nose, flavors of corn, straw, grass and a touch of lemon/lime citrus. Pretty refreshing, a light style.

Draught at the brewpub. Pours pale yellow with rising carbonation, faint white head. the aroma resembles lemongrass with some sweet honey. The flavor is an odd mix of honey, corn, and freshly-mown hay. It dries out a little toward the finish and leaves a grassy aftertaste.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 LiebeBier (805) - Annapolis, Maryland, USA - AUG 19, 2007
Draft - When I envision a Kolsch I think of a Straw/yellow colored beer with a marshmellow thick, huge white head. This had the color correct. I real biscuit aroma with a grassy, citrus malty flavor. A nice dry finish.
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 alexanderj (2830) - Gilbert, Arizona, USA - MAY 18, 2007
I found this one really strange tasting. Clear, pale gold with not much head. NOt much aroma. Flavor was fairly bland with some sweetness, and some strange flavor that reminded me of gravy. NOt a favorite at all.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 jmuhops (666) - Winchester, Virginia, USA - JUL 24, 2006
Pale gold with a white head. Biscuity aroma with a touch of citrus. Sweet, citrusy flavor with a light grassy hop finish. Better than I expected from a brewpub Kolsch.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 aracauna (2649) - Georgia, USA - JUL 17, 2006
Very clear, very pale yellow. This one is moving in on light lager territory with the color. Lightly grassy, lightly lemony aroma. Lively palate, slight tingling hop bitterness in the finish. Light wheaty malt.
