COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An intensely dark, full bodied, dry stout with a silky, smooth quality lent by the addition of oatmeal to the mash. This "BIG" beer has a roasted character and is not for the faint of heart.

big long english style roll out in the glass. then it is pretty much like a guiness with perhaps a bit more flavor as it tastes more roasty ans spicy with and a little less body and fullness in the palate.

Served on draft at the brewpub. Pours a dark brown color, appearing nearly black in the glass. Medium creamy nitro head. Good head retention and lacing. Fairly faint aroma of roasted malts, chocolate and nuts. The taste is chocolate, roasted malts, oatmeal, nuts, faint caramel and a leafy hop finish. Medium bodied. Nice.

Sampled at the brewpub. Pours a greay black with thick creamy persistent tan head. Roasty, chocolate, toffee, burnt, a little milky sweetness, and faint coffee notes. Pretty damn tasty full chewy body.

Draft at Cally’s. I was pumped to see this on the board (in the middle of summer no less!) and finally get a rating on RateBeer! Pours dark brown (not quite black) with a tan to off-white head depending on how you hold it in the light. Nose is mostly roasted malts with the slightest suggestion of toasted nuts. Body is equally confusing, mostly some roasted but a salinity and some other weird disjointed flavors that drop off almost immediately to a short, dry finish. A good effort, just slightly dazed and confused.
