33cl on tap at Calvin’s Beer in Pozuelo de Alarcón, Spain. It pours a hazy pale golden / yellow liquid with a medium consistent white head that lasts throughout the beer and leaves a good lacing. The aroma has some mild herbal and floral hops, citron hints and wheat. A little vinegary smell spoils it slightly. It tastes likewise but without vinegar notes, with an interesting mild spiciness, and a litlle orange. The flavour is mostly mild floral hops and wheat. Mildly flavoured but nice. It has low-medium sweetness and sourness, and almost no bitterness. It is softly carbonated, medium-full bodied, feeling thick and dense. It ends dry, with a pleasant floral aftertaste. Mild but tasty brew; curiously hoppy for a wheat beer.

Köszönöm Rollinak a kóstolási lehetőséget!

0,75 l bottle as a gift.. I think it was fermented with bottom technologies, so this is not an ale....
Poured hazy blond with a medium fizzy white head that melt slowly and stays on the surface. Moderated aroma with yeast, bready malt background, straw and some honey. Medium bodied one with malt and honey again, bread and yeast, some sourish lactic acid. I do not know...is it good or not? But rather a zwickl-landbier with wheat....

Calvin is a beer from one of the not many spanish microbrewereis. It´s the only micro that you can find in Madrid, and it is not served in many places, maybe only six or seven places. This one, "Rubia", has a turbid appearance, with amber color and an intense flavor
