Bottle at the courtesy of Nick. Low but lasting creamy white head. Hazy yellow body. Powerful fruity aroma. Highly carbonated fruity light citrus flavor with a long sweet aftertaste.

Bottle. Pours hazy gold with a white head. Wheaty aroma with a hint of citrus and coriander. Wheaty and yeasty flavor with more coriander. Not bad.

(Old BA rate - bottle) Pours a slightly hazy rusty yellow color with a thinner white head; OK lacing but nothing special...not really looking for that in the style. Bright citrus aromas; a hint of yeast; spice and a little sweet banana in aroma. Kind of like a wit/hefe hybrid; citrus and a little yeast tartness; but the sweet fruit flavors come through mostly. Not bad, just a little off-style. Thinner to medium, and substantial; soft carbonation. Nice enough drinking here; not as tart and refreshing as others, but OK. I’ll be damned, finally the first decent Swiss beer that I’ve had since arriving in Geneva.

Bottle bought at Geneva airport. Cloudy golden with a medium head. Somewhat astringently spicy banana aroma, hints of wet cardboard. The flavours are too sweet, but with definite banana notes. Too light body for the style. This Calvinist approach to hefeweizen is not quite successful.

Bottle, bought from Verbier. Fruity aroma, cinnamon, cigarette smoke. Taste banana, good. When I added the geas and suddenly the hozy yellow orange... hmm. I need to make better notes. Read fatphils reviews below for ultimate satisfaction if that’s you’re after.

330ml bottle (Switzerland) - shared by Tranquillity - thanks!
Rich orange, cloudy, small head. Yeasty banana-ey hefeweizen aroma. Good hefe taste - sweet wheat, some coriander, and with some sharp biting hops. Not quite full enough in the body to compete with German hefe’s but way fuller than your average wit - I’d consider reclassifying it. Very tasty, also has a touch of vanilla in, I notice.

Bottle, 5.2%. Farty and spicy aroma. Cloudy orange colour. Big stable white head. The flavour is spicy, some clove. The bitterness is slightly high and with a little grassy aroma hop to it.

Bottled 33cl. It pours a murky golden beer with a surprisingly small head. The nose is mainly of banana, coriander and orange peel. Light bodied. Slightly acidic. Dry finish with a huge amount of coriander. Thanks bov for this beer!
