Flavorful and rich lager, well above average. Works both as a thirst quencher and to lighter food. Surprisingly good!

Birra molto chiara, quasi trasparente. Profumo fresco ed erbaceo. Buon sapore con prevalenza di malto e un buon bilanciamento. Buona.

500 ml swing-top bottle at a bar in Geneva. Pours a cloudy orange hue with a large white head. The aroma is sweet malts and oranges. The flavor is mostly a fluffy and easygoing sweet beer, some oranges and dry yeast. Very nice.

Bottle. Hazy yellow with half a finger of white head. Light malty, citrusy, yeasty, light spicy aroma. Taste is sweet and light malty with a bitter dry finish, floral and grassy hoppy, citrusy notes, a touch of Gunpowder. Very drinkable, better than other ratings suggests. But a pale lager? I doubt....

I’m surprised this is listed as a lager. It tastes like a blond beer, with a mild taste of malt and hops.

UPDATED: SEP 24, 2014 Une bière blonde très agréable au palais; assez douce et fruité; j’en achète de temps en temps

Appearance with golden pale color, partial cloudy liquid and small head. Fruity and floral aroma (nice malt). In the mouth it is acid, refreshing and fruity. Very good for a lager, not bad at all.

Bottle at home. Pours a clear pale yellow with lots of tiny floaties and a white head. Dry with aromas of malts and czech hops. Medium to light bodied. Soft carbonation. Dry finish.

0.33 l fliptop bottle my friend Zrinka shared with me, thanks! BB date 08/Feb/08. Poured bit hazy pale golden body (outdated rather than unfiltered) with big dense head. Again not so strong, but pretty pleasant aroma, well balanced between grass and lemony hops and sweet floral and fruity malts. Flavor is as pleasant, has all characteristics explained in aroma plus nice bitter hopiness, relatively full bodied for the style, finishing in very pleasant fruity way. Great for pale lager, although I think this is one of its related, more subtle styles. And only if it were fresh...
