COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Calvors ’3Point8’ is our lightest lager. It has a beautiful pale colour with a clean, crisp refreshing taste – great for quenching thirst, especially on those sunny summer days! Calvors ’3Point8’ pairs well with light flavoured foods such as salads and fish.

Bottle at the Calvors stand at the MasterChef Live Expo, London. Pours clear gold with a whispy, white head. Mild aroma, some faint cereal malts. Flavor is lightly sweet and fairly bland. Light dough, cereal, very faint bitterness, some sugar. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Malty finish, cereal, light grain, faint grass. Nothing wrong here, overall. Pretty easy to drink, if a bit basic in terms of character.

Hazy pale gold beer. Crisp palate but not as crisp as you would expect a lager. Very moderate carbonation. Light malt and not much else. Dull as dishwater.

330ml bottle from Westholme Stores, Goring. Pale straw with a thin white head and heavy carbonation; the aroma is sweet, floral and grainy; sweet grainy flavour with some light citrus notes; then slightly drier with a some light grassy hops. Rather delicate and refreshing, and miles away from a mass market lager.

From tap at Euston Tap. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Cornish malty and grassy. Bitter, grassy and sweet cornish. Bitter and mild sweet cornish into the finish.

Brilliantly clear straw color. Slight white head that leaves a bit of lacing behind. Smells like chemical corn. If there is such a thing. Tastes a little better, but has the corn husk flavor that their other beers have. Sweet, dry, thin. At least it has a taste, compared to other lagers out there. Just not much of a good taste, though.
