Draught at the brewpub. Hazy dark amber coloured. Notes of caramel and fruits in the aroma and in the flavour. Quite sweet. Some yeastiness in the finish.

On tap at the brewpub in Stuttgart, Germany. Pours a hazy light brown color with a fast to go beige head. Aroma is malt, clay and caramel. Taste is wartery plain brown wartery mash. Palate is slightly offensive and stale. As always this brewpub fails to deliever. I like my beer not too cold but this was served almost piss warm, like it was left under a hotlamp or something. Palate was sour cardboard.

Unclear dark amber, creamy head, malty floral aroma of over ripe fruit,, caramel and honey, some spices on palate. Flavour is sweet, sweet finish and some dryness in end for balance. Definitly got me xmas inspired (or maybe it was the gluwine :-))

Cloudy, dark reddish-orange beer with tight, lacy head. Light, grainy nose, hints of grass and orange zest. Moderately bitter flavor, but also a bit sweet. Pretty clean. There’s a definite house character at Calwer Eck and this is another variation on the theme.
