Bottle, ABV 5,6%. Pours black with a decent-sized, beige head. Aroma is salty liquorice, roast, earthiness, coffee. Taste is roast and coffee, some earthiness, light ash. Some salty liquorice. Somewhat sweet that doesn’t really fit and all in all, rather thin. Light, even a tad watery.

33cl bottle @ home. Dark brown with a thin brown head. Creamy, some chocolate, milky sweetness, roasted malt. Flavor is similar, drier though and more chocolate pudding like at first. Finish is dry and roasty. Not your typical Schwarzbier.

Bottle, 5.6%. Weak chocolate aroma, perhaps a little roast barley. Almost black colour, seems clear. Big stable creamy light brown head. The flavour is nicely malty, very flavourful. Creamy maltiness with a mild roasted note. Late lactose sweetness (but it is not on the list of ingredients). Good.

Bamsen78 (3310) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - AUG 23, 2014
Bottle from McTapps & MichaelAwesome - thank you! Pours hazy nearly pitch black with small light tan head. Clear aroma of malt, with touches of caramel and yeast, and hints of coffee. Roasty, bitter flavour, with notes of lactose, malt and coffee, and hints of hops and yeast. Lingering, roasty and coffeelike aftertaste. A decent Schwarzbier, if a trifle watery.

Cunningham (4775) - Halden, NORWAY - AUG 12, 2014
Big fine tan head that on top of a black body. Roasted aroma and some oysters. A bit light body. Tad sweet and a mild bitterness. Really mild stuff. Nothing wrong with it, but you would hope for some more sparkling power. Mild bready, roasted and milk chocolate flavor. Decent, but slightly boring.
[Bottle from a trade with McTapps]
