Draught. Pours light amber with solid white head. Aroma of citrusy and piney hops, caramel in the back. In taste medium sweet, this has some body, it is not dry. Lot of piney and citrusy notes in flavour. Solid bitterness in the finish. Solid IPA from the sweeter and stronger side.

Cloudy Amber with a medium white head. Aroma had grassy and piney hints. Flavor likewise. Felt like the hops weren’t in best shape.

(Camba Bavaria Ei Pi Ai) From Beerhunter111, thanks! Bottle 330 ml at home, served into a shaker, ABV 8% Deep orange colour on the body, mostly clear, with a small but thick white head sitting on top, with good retention. Fresha roma, wiht oranges, tanherine, light biscuit, grass. Nicely bitter taaste, with orange, tangerine, some orange zest, grass, pine, well hidden alcohol. Medium thin body, good carbonation, soft I’d say. Very good.

Maker: Camba Bavaria, Truchtlaching, Germany *** Beer: EI PI AI (bottled, unfiltered, 330ml) *** Style: India Pale Ale (IPA) *** ALC.VOL.: 8.0% *** Colour: Bright, hazy amber; medium, creamy off-white head. *** Nose: Tangerines, mixed berries, pine, herbs, slight medicinal note. *** Texture: Medium body, neither watery nor truly oily (despite ABV), modest carbonation. *** Taste: Tangerines and tropical fruit, sweet caramel balanced by instant pinewood bitterness. Toffee, alcohol (nut not too boozy). More "generic" hoppy bitterness towards the middle, with a bit of resin. Chewy malts and floral hops in the finish. Lasting bitter aftertaste of pine/resin with a light citrus note. *** Impressions: Very good, quasi-imperial IPA with balance and character. The alcohol is not too obvious, tangerines and pine dominate this beer. Maybe a bit more body and/or an oily texture would further elevate this brew.

Bottle. Amber color. Red berries and grassy herbal hops in the aroma. Malty flavor with red berries, citrus and grassy herbal hops. Dry finish, slightly alcoholic. Good, quite un-German beer.

Golden with some copper hues, clear offering a pillowy off white head. Aromas of caramel biscuits, somewhat resinous, herbal-orange, bit pine and light tropical notes develop. Soft carbonation, rather slick with a pronounced body. the juicy malt center takes you a bit by surprise and dominates but the hops still manage to shine noticeably through; so ,or eof an english style IPA. Good balance between sweet and bitter with a lasting chewy finish.
