Had a light, sweet, flowery smell with a nice golden color. As India Pale Ale’s go, I was hoping for more of a hop/bitter taste. Light bitterness on the tongue, but not what is expected in an IPA. For the style, it was good, but not great.

Nice looking swing top 50cl bottle pours with a slightly hazy copper body with gold hues and supporting a dirty white head of foam. The aroma offers up some yeastiness and mineral notes for a brief moment before malt sweetened mango and cantaloupe take over with a slight resiny pine note in the background. The taste is like drinking a cup of malt sweetened mango and grapefruit juice. Behind juicy hop flavor notes is a bit of resiny hop bitterness that seems a little pine like and than a light mineral and yeasty note. Pretty darn rich and tasty IPA.

Nice aroma and mouthfeel but way too sweet for the lack of bitterness. I think it needs more tinkering.

Slighty sweet. Could use more bitter. Drink cold & fast. Probably again but not necessarily.

Bottle shared with McTapps. Crazy thing drinking the best IPAs in my life from german brewers, isn´t it ? Fruits and hops all the way from start to the end. Quaffy, drinkable, addictive. Would love to drink a second or third one.

So I ordered quite some IPAs online and I must admit quite a few of the American ones were a little bit disappointing. So I had some thoughts before opening this bottle but got quickly really happy. This one is a real fine IPA with no real bitterness at all. It has got a milky amber-orange colour with steady head and crisp body. Nose is little bit too weak but still full IPA-ish. Taste of strong hops, pepper, coriander, cardamom, mild chili and red rice. Really delicious and easy to drink. Great one.

Geruch eher leichte Zitrusnote, vornehmlich Erdbeere, Sahne. Antrunk zitrusartig. Mitte würzig, erdbeerbetont. Malzwürziger Abgang, moderat bitter und etwas alkoholisch, fruchtige Erdbeeraromen. Schmackhaft, könnte jedoch markanter sein.

Bottled.
Unclear orange golden colour with a whipped creamy and slowly diminishing off-white head on its top.
Low-keyed grapefruity nose.
Aroma is ruled by honey and florals underpainted by resin and gentle alcohol.
Texture is slick, syrupy.
Long grapefruity finish with herbs and somewhat warming alcohol.
Nice, enjoyable.

Ködös borostyán színű ser egy krémes kétujjnyi vastag piszkosfehér habgallérral a tetején.
Az élénken pezsgő főzet malátás, mustot idéző aromájában fanyar grépfrút, gyanta és (virág)méz tűnik fel, melyet alkoholos hatások festenek alá.
A szirupos testességű nedű befejezése keserédes és melengető, amely egy hosszan tartó fanyar utóízt hagy maga után.

ersma: schön ist natürlich, dass sich in der brauerei unterschiedlichste brauer einbringen können. diese werden bei der namensgebung berücksichtigt. so kriegt man auch ratzfatz ne riesige sortenvielfalt hin.
orange-rötlich mit wenig schaum.
der geruch ist süßlich-fruchtig nach beeren und blumenwiese.
der antrunk ist bitter und süßlich zugleich. fruchtig, grapefruit, mango. die mitte wird noch herber und biterer, die fruchtigkeit bleibt aber klar schmeckbar. der abgang wird wiederum fruchtiger, deutliches berenaroma.
die flasche ist ok, etwas zu schlicht schon.
fazit: angenehm, nicht zu bitter. offensichtlich viel nachgehopft. wegen der moderaten bitterkeit bei dominat fruchtigen aromen ein gutes einsteiger-ipa. probierenswert.
