3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 EithCubes (3340) - GERMANY - MAY 29, 2012
Slender swing-top with just hideous, hideous quality control on the labeling - was BierZwerg supplied with the bottom of the barrel? MHD 27.09.2012. Very hoppy nose, exotic fruit, big lychee with some light peach and medium pine, bread and sticky caramel. Oop, there’s the cookie dough. Hazy red-tinged orange with a rocky off-white head. Taste is sweet and bitter, nothing extreme, a little rubber from the doughy caramel, cleanses the palate and then sticks it with pine needles. Drier, soapier aftertaste (there’s some definite Southern California here). Smooth medium body. Ultimately disappoints, but the beginning moments are quite good.
4.5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 promontor (9) - HUNGARY - MAY 26, 2012 does not count
On tap at Sörspecialista. Starts wih wonderful aromas, floral and fruity (berries and grapes). Colour is dark gold, maybe a bit reddish. Nice and persistent head, a bit creamy. Taste is again wonderful, biiter as an IPA, but also has a lot of complexity, spicy citrus, some other fruits e.g. grapes. Has a bit more bread and sweetness than other IPAs and also has a very nice and persistent bittersweet aftertaste. A very memorable IPA wih a Bavarian touch and I like this combo very much.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 Case (100) - GERMANY - MAY 20, 2012
Bottle from Bierzwerg. Pours clear orange with large white head. Wonderful strong aroma of hops, citrus, pine, grass, a bit of sweet candy sugar. Taste is flowery and bitter-sweet, there’s a strong sweet malt backbone with caramel, candy sugar and turkish delight offset by a medium hops bitterness. Alcohol is not noticable at all. Very tasty, even if a bit too sweet.

swing top bottle 500ml. -from Sörspecialista.hu. Nice amber coloured, medium sized off-white head, agrumy hoppy nose. Fruity, caramel and aromatic hoppy with bitter finish and long-lasting bitter aftertaste. IPA by the book, very nice.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Marko (3115) - Split, CROATIA - APR 17, 2012
Ogi’s. Lovely misty dark amber body. Off white head. Slightly subdued sweetish aroma hop nose, quite malty, very light alcohol. Subdued aromatics, heck, they were more pronounced in the Pale Ale! Grainy, orange, alcohol on the fringes, slightly dumb bitterness. Hm. Had high hopes after the PA. Doesn’t deliver.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 inbirraveritas (785) - Budapest, HUNGARY - APR 10, 2012

Deep amber/brown beer with a fine creamy beige head that stays on the surface. Tee and candy sugar, berries and some pine in the nose, rosehip and some spicies. Medium body, smooth mouthfeel with a balanced carbonation, fruity character with wild fruits, berries, light citrusses, rosehip again, malt and caramel, bublegum. In my opinion this beer is too sweet.
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 japi (85) - Kisvárda, HUNGARY - MAR 26, 2012
An amber coloured, hazy beer with tiny yeast particles. It has a frothy, off-white head which is mostly diminishing. The aroma is mostly hoppy, so it’s piney, flowery, citrusy. But it’s also moderate yeasty. First, the taste is light sweet, but the long finish is modarate bitter and spicy. It has a medium body and a rather watery texture. Unfortunately, after a few minutes, the carbonation is mostly diappeared. All in all, it’s a good beer!
