COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Camba Hop Gun has an intense chestnut colour with a bright, sticky foam. The aroma is dominated by fruity notes of peach, raisins and cherries, pared with a hint of caramel. The taste is lightfooted and refreshing. The addition of typical american hops like simcoe and amarillo results in a balanced composure of fruity cocktail and well regulated bitterness with a light caramell finish. The alcoholic content is 6,4 %, the original gravity is 14,6 ° Plato with 46 IBU.

L: -pours a clear burnt orange with a medium, frothy, offwhite head -medium carbonation visible -hop particles visible S: -orange,peach,tangerines,caramel,pine the nose plus strawberries and breadiness F: -medium carbonation -light to medium body O: Really good overall, but certainly not a Brown Ale. I’d categorize this more as an old school East Coast IPA

UPDATED: AUG 30, 2016 On tap at Tribaun. Pours very dark red brown, with a decent lingering head. Aroma is lots of fruit and lots of caramel and biscuit. Flavour is big toffee, apple, distinct strawberry note and then a savoury biscuit finish. Certainly not the standard brown ale (personally would have this under APA or amber ale), with the fruity hops adding a delicious new dimension.

Deep amber-brown, slightly red shiny color with a big head. Aroma is very fresh with notes of pine, some citrus, toffee. Some spices. Body is medium and bitterness is not to high. Good balance between malt and hops. Like it! Very delicious

Hop gun, also brought out as ur wüchsig hop, is a dark amber beer. Normal hoppy taste, not really a gun. Taste is sweet-bitter. Finish is a bit caramelly though watery. All in all a bit chemical fruity iso natural taste. Aftertaste is ok. And indeed lightfooted and refreshing. What is promised is what you get and that deserves a bonuspoint.

33cl bottle: Muddy orange color with a thick head. Piney, spicy hop aroma with a citric note. Noticeable toasted caramel and toffee, and again dank pine. Pretty good, a little thin in the finish.

Rating #1179.

Bottle @ home. Hazy reddish color, average sized medium sized beige head. Aroma is malts, hops, a bit fruity and even a touch of hoppy red fruit weirdly enough. Taste lightly malts, lightly hops, moderately bitter. Decent body and carbonation. Ok beer. [Edit: After reading the description the hoppy red fruit I got in the aroma seems logic]

Fruity aroma, peach, cherry, almond, citrus, herbal and hoppy. Pours semitransparent chestnut-coloured liquid with a big foamy head. Medium sweetness and medium-light bitterness, flavour of fresh citrus hops and summer fruit, a little caramel and bready undertone. Medium body with a slick texture, lively carbonation and a dry malty finish. Overall very pleasant, not a big fan of the dry palate and it could be more hoppy and bitter for something called "Hop Gun", but the fruity, citrussy American hops flavour is definitely there.

0.33 l bottle form Pivoteka, Zagreb. Shared with Višnja 666, lovely Anja and Goran. Thanks Višnja! Hazy chestnut to ruby red, lasting off-white head. Fading aroma, fruity notes, caramel, light fruity hops. Light tartness, some alcohol, some sweetness. Warming, medium body and soft carbonation. Light hoppy finish. No hops here, really, if that’s what they wanted.
