COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bottle from the brewery. Bought last week. Pours black with a creamy head. Roast, pine and grapefruit. Fresh hops and dry coffee roasted bitterness. A fine mixture and bitterness from both. Really bitter and dry for sure. Dammn - almost too much:-). Smooth and slick.

Bottled. Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is chocolate, quite nice hoppiness with floral and fruity hops to it. Very pleasantly balanced aroma. Flavour is fruity, some ripe fruits, mild toffee and some slight nutty notes to it. Actually very nice.

(from 33cL bottle @ Oirschot tasting. Thanks for sharing, Benzai!)

Bottle @ weekly tasting shared with Dutchdrebus and Martinus. Black color, medium sized light brown head that lasts for a decent while. Aroma is quite nice, a pretty decent mix of stout and IPA. Taste malts, some hops but I would have liked some more, decent stout flavors as well: lightly roast, quite nicely bitter. Average to medium body and carbonation.

Bottle @ benzai. Pitch black with a medium sized beige to light brown head. Smells roasty, coffee, hops, fresh, slightly fruity. Great black ipa smell. Tastes roasty, coffee, chocolate, bitter, some hops, slightly fruity. Pretty nice. Medium body, nice carbo.

Bottle. Black, tannish top. Green citrus resinous hops, some licorice roastedness. Dark, salty licorice body. Lightish, bitter, ashy. Really roasty. Nice, but bit unbalanced. Too roasty ashy salty flavour.

Piana bardzo obfita, kremowa pięknie krążkująca. Czarne w barwie z dużą ilością drobinek chmielu. Aromat lekko owocowy z czekoladą i odrobiną paloności.

33cl bottle as part of "Die wilden Cambas" series from bayern-biershop.de. Pours a truly gorgeous suave pitch black with dense, pillowy beige mousse. Aromas of roast, fruity yeast rounded off by floral hops. Mid-full body first ventures into porter territory, heavier on toasted malts, liquorice, arabica coffee, before bending into alleviating, light and near-luxurious floral and selvatic hop fields: not quite the dark leafy exotics of US saisons, but a characteristic composition of berries and grasses all the same. Both thinnish and creamy mf, pleasantly light finish. Nice surprise, considering the conveyer belt pace at which Camba churned out this series & matching labels. Bonus points for unnoticed abv.
