Bottle. Light golden, average and fully diminishing head. Light to moderate malty - lightly grainy and lightly sweetish aroma with faint caramel - bread and light grassy hoppyness. Body is light to medium, malty - lightly grainy and lightly sweetish, light bread and light grassy hoppyness. Finish is average, malty - lightly grainy and dryish - lightly sweetish, faint bread and light - some grassy/herbal hoppyness. OK pils with notes of bread - not too sweet, though.

bartlebier (1645) - Belchum im Breisgau, GERMANY - JUN 15, 2014
UPDATED: JUN 16, 2014 33cl bottle bb 12/2014, Getränke Stadelbauer Denzlingen. Landing somewhere between Bavarian Helles and mild (CZ?) Pilsner, but obviously hopped with natural herbal hops taking centre stage against a crisp and fresh malt background. Thinnish and sessionable. Would revisit regularly if priced more mildly as well.

pivnizub (8800) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - MAR 13, 2014
Lahev: Unclear, pale greenish-golden, small white head, small lace, light to moderate dryish grassy and - unfortunately - papery nose; dry bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied and quite tart;shorter dry grassy finish - balancing pale malt hard to find. A Bohemian Pilsener? Ridiculous…

MoritzF (8464) - Bochum, GERMANY - FEB 24, 2014
(bottle, 33cl) Slightly hazy, pale golden colour with a blond and short foamy head. Slightly sweet/sugary malty aroma with traces of caramel, backed by a whiff of herbal hops. Moderately sweet flavour, light bodied with a calm carbonation. Delicately bready (cara-)malty taste with a mildly herbal and slightly floral hoppy touch; sweet-bitter malt-accented finish with a rather delicate hops character. A fine but a bit subdued Pilsener. 24.II.14
