Parmesan).

Unfiltriertes helles Lagerbier

Bottled. A yellow beer with a yellowish head. The aroma has notes of malt and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and herbs, leading to a crisp bitter finish.

Vernünftiges Helles ohne große Sprünge. Trinkbar, recht mikd, ausgewogene Perlung. Etwas Getreide, Butter, Vanille. Durchaus ausgewogen, aber nichts Besonderes.

The beer has got a clear golden colour with a steady head and medium body. Aroma of hops and malt. Taste of hops, malt, straw, honey and mild fruits. Refreshing and easy drinkable, not a bad one.

Draught at the brewery. Shy grainy touch, evolving into a nice breadiness in the flavour, a hint of vanilla and a crisp, creamy mouthfeel - this one proved to me that such a thing as a truly tasty helles actually exists.

McWorta (1071) - LUXEMBOURG - APR 20, 2015
Opalescent golden colour with a fluffy fine poring white head. Aromas of hay, toasted white bread, straw and some bread-dough develops. A well kept soft carbonation opens for a mild texture on the palate with a medium body. A light bready juicy malt swetness is present all the way through with a soft spicy/herbal hop bitterness waving. Medium lasting finish, well harmonic and balanced beer! Simple, well done and quaffable.

In many ways the archetypical Bavarian Helles, hay-light yet fresh on the nose, pouring slightly darker yellow than usual, going down in heavy gulps on a lean and clean palate, imparting just as much pale malt and fresh hop aromatics as needed - only as double the price, making Camba the innovators whose true innovation here was to charge double for a clean execution true to traditional forms.

Bottle@Home, label said just Camba Hell. Grainy, malty, hoppy herbal aroma. Hazy, yellow, white head, good lace. Light malty, hoppy, herbal, hint of sulfur. Medium body. Nicely hopped, refreshing.
