Murky medium grey yellow orange color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, wheat, light hoppy, moderate yeasty, banana, fruity, paper notes. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light light bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is watery - creamy, carbonation is soft. [20110311]

Milder Antrunk von säuerlichen und trocken herben Noten. Diese scheinen, als würden sie auf das Hauptaroma warten, das dann aber einfach nicht aufkreuzt. Langweilig da überaus wässrig, im Mittelteil kurz trocken nach Kräutern. Ein absolut schlechtes, da laffes Weizen, das jegliche Frische vermissen lässt. Auch andere Aromen können kaum ausgemacht werden. 11/4/5/4/6/4

Pours cloudy golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of wheat, malt and banana. Taste is light sweet and light bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Hazy dirty yellow colour with tiny head (with yeast).
Wheat, yeast, grain and clove in aroma.
Flavour is wheat, yeast and dry grain.
Very grainy and wheaty. No fruity freshness.

Bottle, from trade with fonefan. It’s a clear, orangey yellow beer with a small, off-white head. The aroma is quite orangey and citrusy, some yeasty notes and cloves in the back. The flavor is nice, grainy and banana-ish flavors balancing well, with a touch of cloves. Medium body. A quite pleasant one, drinks easily and it’s far from bad tasting. Certainly a beer I could drink a few of. 110420

Very hazy golden blonde coloured body with a nice white 1 centimetre tall head. Aroma of bananas, cloves, curacao and a bit of yeast. Medium-bodied; Nice fresh wheat taste with plenty of good wheat flavours coming out nicely. Aftertaste clean and refreshing with a good spicey taste tucked into that sublime wheat flavour. Overall, nice to try in Germany, even though I wasn’t in Bavaria. I sampled this 33 cL glass on draught at Gasthaus zum Eisernen Steg in Frankfurt-Am-Main, Germany on 21-February-2009.

Bügelverschlußflasche: Golden, cloudy, medium-sized fluffy off-white head,visible carbonation, slowly collapsing; moderate yeasty-wheaty nose with a shy lemony fruitiness backstage, clovey and cellary aromas, too; moderate sweet-sourish flavour, a bit fizzy, light bodied; short clovey-sourish finish. Not bad, but all in all disappointing......
