Bottle thanks to Stuu666. Appearance - hazy golden with a thin head. Nose - oranges and malt. Taste - more of the same. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy yet crunchy texture and a finish that is too sweet. Overall - could be fresher but fairly tasty all the same.

330 ml bottle bought at Great Food Hall in Pacific Place, Admiralty.

Cloudy hazy golden honey wcolour ith a thin trace of yeast sediments; Two finger head with long lasting crumpety white foam; Superb sticky lacing and very fizzy carbonation. Fragrant and fairly sweet aroma of Ale malt, with strong mango, pineapple, passion fruit, jackfruits, floral nectar, sugar, pine, light yeast, thin lemon and light grass; Mid to light sweet taste of Ale malt, with very light grapefruit, very faint papaya, faint molasses notes, pine, lime, dry biscuits, yeast, moderate bitter hops and light grass; Medium body. Slick and quite thick palate; Mouth feel is pretty strong maltyness in a fairly rich body. Hops are surprisingly not really fruity, just bare minimum grapefruits and hints of papaya. Low sweetness, fair pine, strong biscuit, and lime to round. Kimda okay… Hoppiness is all about aroma - strong mango, pineapple, passion fruit, jackfruits, floral nectar, and pine. Taste is low-blow citrus, light pine, lime and faint grass. Bitterness is definitely low by APA standard, for an abrupt, moderately astringent finish; Slightly dry after taste. Fairly rich and malty-piney to mouth.

Comments: Like most APA, this one’s tropical fruity aroma really impressed. WEhen it comes to taste, its hops is really ho-hum and not bitter enough. First impression turns into first deception, its lack of vibrant taste is its undoing. Oh well.

Not a big fan. the taste is a bit funky and not very well balanced. the hops are present but it seems like it completely misses the mark.

Bottle at home. Pours a clear light amber with a white head. Dry with a light sweetness. Hoppy aromas of exotic fruits with hints of grapes. Also notes of pale malts. Medium bodied. Medium to soft carbonation. Bitter finish.

On tap at The Tap-House Munich. Hazy pale gold lasting white head. Big fresh leafy hoppy aroma. Some yeast wortiness too. That is unusual. Smells and tastes like an apa and a zwickl at the same time. Not many beers I have had smell this way. The leafy hop is outrageous. Interesting. Almost under brewed.

It’s alright but there’s something funky that I just can’t put my finger on and I’ve had plenty of pale ale and IPA before. There are some grassy notes from the hops that I’d rather not have - prefer citrus and pine. Body is fine.
