Das Truchtlinger Bier vom 1. Tag. Bernsteinfarben, von feiner obergäriger Hefe durchzogen, hat das Bier einen feinen, beständigen, am Glas gut haftenden Schaum. Es ist angenehm würzig und typisch obergärig im Geruch, ein Duft von Karamell und Muskatnuss schmeichelt der Nase. Auf der Zunge ist es frisch, rein, vollmundig, harmonisch und ausgewogen. Im Ausklang hinterlässt es einen rezenten Eindruck mit einer kaum bemerkbaren Bittere. Einfach was Guads!
Wilderer Weißbier Dunkel ist der ideale Begleiter zu Desserts oder als Nachspeise.

Murky medium orange color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, wheat, light hoppy, moderate yeasty. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110311]

Bottle, from trade with fonefan. It pours a hazy, orange-amber body and a small, beige head. The aroma is rather weak, with banana, caramel hints and a touch of lemon. Sort of metallic finish. The initial flavor has banana, some caramel and a touch of cloves. Medium body, pleasant carbonation. A quite drinkable one, but not very intersting. 110420

Pours deep amber chestnut with a small, creamy, off-white head. Fresh aroma, chocolate, grapefruit, grassy, caramel. Medium carbonation, fine creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has great caramel, sweet chocolate, grainy, light apple, again some grapefruit. Lingering, fairly bitter finish. Nice.
