2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Between Angkor beer and this I’d say I drank enough between to keep the breweries running for a good few months longer. This rating from a 64cL bottle in Siem Reap. Sparkling, yellow gold with a fine bead and soapy white head. Tinny, grassy, lemon curd and dishwashing liquid nose with a tinge of boiled vegetables. Quite bready and doughy on the palate with a loosely evident leafy hop backdrop. Clean enough finish, relatively dry and crisp. Lively, spritzy start with a lean and watery body. A ’turn your brain off’ type of lager that hits the spot nicely in the heat and humidity. Average! (BB 21/02/16, off-license, Siem Reap, Cambodia)

Thanks to jaghana for this one. Pozrs a clear pale golden color, topped with a rather small white frothy head. Mild malty aroma, quite soapy. Taste is sweet and watery, no real bitterness and metallic in the aftertaste. Below average, really. But hey, new country.

What a stupid bottle text. Anyway. Very simple aroma, light grainy, not underdeveloped though, surprisingly. Taste however is as generic as expected, with very light bitterness and cheap mouth feel. It’s poor as expected. (33cl bottle from Paris Store Asian supermarket in Tours)

Blonde pale, mousse qui apparat très subrepticement. Nez de malt, de miel et de fumée (???). Bouche caramel et malt. Beaucoup trop sucrée, même pas désaltérante. Très mauvais.

This is not a beer I would dream of drinking outside Cambodia however for me this is the best of local beers available where I live in Cambodia, a welcome change from Angkor and the flavored water sold as Anchor.

Had on draught and in a can in siem reap. Very clear light yellow with white yeah. Aroma of weak grass and not much else. Taste is of your typical mass produced lager. Inoffensive. That’s it.

From a bottle. It’s your tropical mass produced beer, not much of anything and terrible as it warms up.

Bottle 33cl, a clear yellow beer with low head. Nose is on dry toasted grain with corn notes. Aroma is watery with wet paper touch, corn notes, very poor and boring, not much malt is that one;
