Real change is here! No longer will American beer lovers be forced to choose between those quirky, eccentric beers of Belgium or the explosively flavorful IPAs of the United States. We have brewed the change we have been waiting for! Liberally hopped to an audacious degree, our Belgian Double IPA reaches across the aisle to bridge the seemingly contradictory brewing philosophies of the old world and new. Our beer uses generous portions of Pilsner and Vienna malts to give it its hazy golden color and rocky white head. Two independent dry hop additions of Simcoe, Chinook, Amarillo, Hallertauer, and Spalt put aside their differences to form a delicious coalition. Floral grassiness dominates the nose with fruity hints of bright citrus well represented. Its subtle spicy flavor comes from a Belgian yeast as well as generous doses of German hops in the kettle. These aggressive flavors are complemented by a determined bitterness and a full but dry finish. All of these characteristics come together in a nonpartisan spirit of cooperation to form a beer that is both righteously flavorful and drinkable. Enjoy! IBU: 70+ OG: 1.076 FG: 1.008 ABV: 8%

Golden color with thin head (some lacing). Big hop presence, mostly floral with some spice, most likely from the Belgian yeast. Pretty bitter with a dry finish. Decent.

22 pours golden yellow with ample white head that turns into decent lacing. Aroma is hops straight up. Taste is hops, pine, straw, citrus, teabag, faint hints of yeast and spice, and more pine and straw. Finish is dry and bitter, and not too sticky.

Bottle from CBX. Almost clear goden pour with a fingers worth of frothy white head. Big tropical citrus hops on the nose, pineapple, papaya, peach with some floral aspects, light pale malts with hints of Belgian yeast. Touch of sweetness up front where the malt and yeast meet fading into strong bitter hops finishing out the back. Medium heavy bodied and fairly dry. Solid reeb.

Cloudy straw yellow Belgian nose with mostly west coast IPA taste. Nice enough, but nothing out of this world. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Delicious IPA with a distinct Belgian aroma and palate. Appealing Belgian sweetness that is quickly balanced with a bright hops flavor sip after sip. Best enjoyed closer to cellar temperature than warm.

Kind of odd. Nutty smokey and diaper taste plus a touch if urinal puck. Taste is bitter and herbal. Tasty but odd.

Bottle, Domus Birrae, Roma. Shared with Slothez, Superbowl session. Hazy amber pour with a middling white head. Quite a pungent fruity hop laden beak. Flavour followed suit with a hearty dollop of piney hop in cahoots with some sweet malts yeast and spice. Bitterness falls into the cruiserweight division. Scores high on drinkability. A very solid Double IPA that just stumbles a little short of being a true world beater.
