Real change is here! No longer will American beer lovers be forced to choose between those quirky, eccentric beers of Belgium or the explosively flavorful IPAs of the United States. We have brewed the change we have been waiting for! Liberally hopped to an audacious degree, our Belgian Double IPA reaches across the aisle to bridge the seemingly contradictory brewing philosophies of the old world and new. Our beer uses generous portions of Pilsner and Vienna malts to give it its hazy golden color and rocky white head. Two independent dry hop additions of Simcoe, Chinook, Amarillo, Hallertauer, and Spalt put aside their differences to form a delicious coalition. Floral grassiness dominates the nose with fruity hints of bright citrus well represented. Its subtle spicy flavor comes from a Belgian yeast as well as generous doses of German hops in the kettle. These aggressive flavors are complemented by a determined bitterness and a full but dry finish. All of these characteristics come together in a nonpartisan spirit of cooperation to form a beer that is both righteously flavorful and drinkable. Enjoy! IBU: 70+ OG: 1.076 FG: 1.008 ABV: 8%

Poured a hazy yellow color with a medium sized white head. Citrus hops start off the aroma in a big way. Yeasty notes with some lemon and a touch of pine. The flavor had a nice mix of malt and hops. Taste of pine. Very long hop flavor and bitterness. Semi-sweet finish. Medium bodied and warming

Bomber from Whole Foods Fairfield. Pours a hazy orange with a large frothy tan head. Good head retention. The taste is citrus, tropical hops, caramel, caramized sugar. Aroma of floral, earthy, spicy hops, pale malt. Medium bodied, strong lingering bitterness.

22 oz bottle. Pours slightly hazy straw yellow with a big meringue like white head that retains well and laces the glass some.

The aroma is sweet wheaty malts, some fruit and a lot of musty Belgian character and some pepper and bubblegum.

The flavor is sweet fruity malts, earthy yeast and a decent bitter finish. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with low carbonation.

Overall, a nice Belgian IPA.

Serving: 22 oz. bottle from State Line Liquors. It pours a clear amber color with a lasting off white head. Nice grassy and pine aroma. A little sweet up front for the style with slightly old grass and pine hop notes. A bit dense on the tongue with a medium finish. I wouldn’t mind a little less sweetness and a little lighter body in this one. Decent.

Bomber. Pineapple aroma with notes of citrus and a bit of pine. Pours hazy golden colored with a huge, soapy white head with decent retention and lacing. Starts sweet with pineapple juice and a bit of citrus. Finishes dry with the pineapple sticking to the palate before giving way to the piney bitter hop finish. Interesting and quite enjoyable.

Bomber into a glass. Cloudy gold pour. Aroma of pine and citrus, a bit soapy. Taste is very much the same...surprisingly light on bitterness with a nice sweetness. Very well-balanced. Light pineapple juice notes. Overall finishes with a lasting juicy, yet lightly pine bitter finish. East drinking.

Nice clean crisp beginning. Citrus and light floral grape note up front with a subtle hoppy ending. Slight grapefruit throughout. Not getting a ton of the Belgian yeast, but it is there, along with some sweetness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
